Last updated: 17 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Lisa Whitmore Publishing through lisawhitmorepublishing.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

About us

Lisa Whitmore Publishing is an independent publishing business. For customer enquiries, please contact hello@lisawhitmorepublishing.co.uk.

Products

We aim to describe and display our books as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor differences in colour, finish or appearance may occur between screen images and physical products.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any applicable delivery charge will be shown before you complete your order. Payments made through the website are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not ask customers to send card details to us by email.

Orders

After an order is placed, you should receive an electronic confirmation. We may contact you if there is a problem with your order. If we cannot supply an item that has been paid for, we will provide an appropriate refund.

Delivery

Delivery information, including any delivery charges and estimated timescales presented at checkout, forms part of your order. Please see our Delivery & Shipping Policy.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Consumers purchasing online may have statutory cancellation rights. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for details, including important information about genuinely personalised products.

Digital products

Where digital content is supplied, any special terms shown at checkout will apply. If you are asked to consent to immediate supply of digital content during the statutory cancellation period and acknowledge that doing so affects your cancellation right, that consent will form part of the order.

Intellectual property

Books, text, artwork, branding and other content sold or displayed through the website remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Purchasing a book or digital copy does not transfer copyright or give permission to reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit the content.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, subject always to your statutory rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights they have under applicable consumer law.
